Audio Spices shares new pitch-shifting reverb, Anise Glide

Audio Spices has released Anise Glide, a pitch-shifting reverb plugin developed by producer Adi Rotem. Unlike standard tools where decay is fixed to specific frequencies, this plugin allows the wet signal to glide into the target pitch. This movement adds colour to any audio source. Users can adjust the pitch across a full octave range to alter depth or brightness. Delicate tweaks create sonic tension between dissonant frequencies. A sensitivity knob controls whether the motion applies to the full signal or just pronounced tones. Four glide patterns determine the curve frequencies follow during the shift. The Glide knob sets the time for shifting to occur. At 30ms, the texture follows immediately. Longer settings allow pitch shifting to overlap with incoming sounds. Two overarching settings adjust plugin operation. Reverb 1 produces dense and smooth textures. Reverb 2 offers sparse and airy qualities. Drift and Tuned dictate how rigid the shifting algorithm is regarding frequencies. Drift is looser while Tuned is more precise. Anise Glide is available for $39. It works in AU, VST3, and AAX on macOS and VST3 on Windows.

  • Launch price is $39 compared to a regular price of $59.
  • macOS requires version 10.13 or higher with Universal 2 support.
  • A free trial is available on the Audio Spices website.
