OpenClaw is finally available on Android and iOS

OpenClaw has launched as an official application on iOS and Android. Peter Steinberger announced the release on X on Tuesday, confirming that users can now pair their smartphones with the OpenClaw Gateway. This routing layer connects device requests to AI agents and their associated tools. The software allows users to run custom agents from their pocket for tasks such as coding or meal planning. Steinberger joined OpenAI in February after the project gained attention through MoltBook, a social platform populated by agents that researchers later identified as partly human actors. The stunt served as marketing for the technology while demonstrating how agents are becoming embedded in daily mobile use.

The move marks a shift from desktop experimentation to widespread mobile deployment. Agents are no longer confined to servers or specific workstations but are now accessible via standard operating systems. This expansion increases the potential for automation in personal workflows, though reliability remains inconsistent based on user reports. The availability on major platforms signals that agentic workflows are moving beyond early adopters.
