Google has added three new features to AI Mode in Search, allowing users to track flight prices, view loyalty point costs, and book hotels directly within the chat interface.

Flight price tracking
The service now includes Google Flights’ price tracking feature. Users can set up alerts while chatting without interrupting their workflow. You describe the destination and dates, and the system displays the best options using real-time data from over 300 partner airlines and travel sites. If you are ready to purchase, you can construct your full itinerary and buy tickets via the airline’s website or a preferred booking platform.
To monitor for drops, ask a command such as “track these flight prices for me.” Once confirmed, you receive an email notification if prices change for your selected destination and dates. This flight price tracking is now available in more than 180 countries and territories.
Points and miles costs
AI Mode can now display the cost of flights and hotels in points or miles. For example, you might ask, “I want to travel from Atlanta to Miami using my AA miles. Help me find some options for nonstop flights departing Oct 9 and returning on Oct 12.”
The system immediately shows the required miles based on the latest data from partners. The same process applies to hotels: specify your trip details and request the cost in points for your chosen rewards program. Clicking the provided link takes you to the partner site to complete the redemption.
This capability is available globally. Initial support covers Alaska Airlines, Hawaiian Airlines, American Airlines, Choice Hotels International, Hilton, and Wyndham Hotels & Resorts. Support for Accor, Flying Blue, Hyatt, LATAM Airlines, and Lufthansa Group will follow in the coming weeks.
Hotel booking
Reserving a hotel now happens within a single conversation. You describe your trip and preferences to receive a visual list of options, including guest reviews and key comparison factors.
When you find a suitable property, ask AI Mode to help complete the booking. Select “Continue on Google” from the list of options next to integrated partners. This allows you to choose a room type, review details like cancellation policies, and pay securely via Google Pay. The hotel or booking platform acts as the merchant of record and handles any customer service.
Hotel booking in AI Mode has started rolling out in the U.S. in English. Availability will expand over the coming weeks to include Booking.com, Choice Hotels International, Expedia, Hilton, Hotels.com, IHG Hotels & Resorts, Marriott International, Priceline, Trip.com, and Wyndham Hotels & Resorts.
What it means
Users no longer need to switch between Search and dedicated booking sites to manage rewards or monitor fares. The process consolidates discovery, comparison, and purchase into one continuous interaction.
