Fortnite players can no longer be distracted by real-world noise while hunting opponents disguised as Olivia Rodrigo, Chappell Roan, or Sabrina Carpenter. Audeze has added adaptive noise cancelling to its flagship gaming headphones to stop these interruptions.
The Audeze Maxwell 2 ANC retains the planar magnetic driver technology found in the previous model. This system is the quietest the company has produced to date.
It combines feedforward and feedback noise reduction with low-latency transparency. External noise is removed while audio positioning stays precise. Knowing exactly where a threat is coming from remains essential.
The noise cancelling parameters use AI to adapt to specific environments. Voice commands and wired or Bluetooth audio options keep hands on the controller and eyes on the game. This setup works regardless of the user’s location in the room.
Compatibility with the Audeze App allows users to design their ideal audio experience further. A multiband EQ is included. Adding extra high frequencies can make footsteps stand out more. Mobile control adds convenience to managing different options.
The Audeze Maxwell 2 ANC is available now. The price is $429 for PlayStation and $449 for Xbox.
What it means
Gamers get a tool to block distraction without losing directional hearing. The AI adjusts the silence level automatically, and the app lets you tweak frequencies to hear game sounds better.
