Anthropic has agreed to a forty-five billion dollar agreement with Nscale for computing power ahead of its planned initial public offering. The deal secures access to forty-sixty megawatts of capacity from a facility in West Virginia starting late next year. This infrastructure will run on Nvidia’s upcoming Vera Rubin chip generation. The move follows commitments to lease Google hardware for more than one hundred fifty billion dollars and ongoing talks with Meta and SpaceX.

Nscale is preparing its own flotation and raised two billion dollars in March at a valuation of fourteen point six billion dollars. Its proposed one point three five gigawatt data centre in Mason County costs sixty-nine billion dollars and faces local opposition.
