The issue appears limited to direct queries on Grok.com, as the service on X.com remains unaffected. xAI confirmed the problem was a rare temporary generation glitch and advised users to start a fresh chat or regenerate the response. An official status page currently shows all Grok services as fully operational with no incidents. The company has recently experienced significant staff turnover, losing most of its founding team and at least 50 researchers and engineers according to a report from The Information in May.
